Bold Men of God ("we," "our," or "the app") is a daily devotional application built for men who desire to grow in faith, character, and purpose. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By using the Bold Men of God app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to personalize your experience:

• Your first name — entered during onboarding and used to personalize the devotional experience within the app.
• Email address (optional) — you may choose to provide this during onboarding. If provided, it may be used to send occasional updates or announcements related to the app.

We do not collect device identifiers, location data, usage analytics, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.

How Your Information Is Stored

Your name and any email address you provide are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage, a standard on-device storage mechanism provided by your phone's operating system. This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to any external server owned or operated by us.

If you delete the app, this locally stored information is removed from your device along with it.

How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used solely to:

• Display your name within the app as a personal touch to your devotional experience.
• Send you occasional app-related communications if you voluntarily provided your email address and consented to receive them.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making.

We Never Sell or Share Your Data

Your personal information is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with any third party for any purpose — commercial or otherwise. We have no data brokers, advertising partners, or analytics services that receive your personal information.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services to support its functionality. These services operate under their own privacy policies and may process limited technical data (such as purchase receipts or app session data) necessary for their operation:

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscription purchases and entitlements. RevenueCat receives anonymized purchase data from the App Store or Google Play to verify your subscription status. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
• Apple App Store / Google Play — processes payments for subscriptions in accordance with their respective platform policies. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
• Expo / EAS — used to build and deliver the application. No personal user data is shared with Expo during normal app operation.

Children's Privacy

Bold Men of God is intended for adult men and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will promptly take steps to remove that information.

Your Rights & Choices

You have full control over your data:

• Access or correction — if you have questions about what information is stored, contact us at the email below.
• Deletion — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device. If you provided an email address and wish to have it removed from any communication list, contact us and we will honor that request promptly.
• Opt-out of emails — if you provided your email and no longer wish to receive communications, reply to any email from us with "Unsubscribe" or contact us directly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
